Refund Policy

2. Usage-Based Charges

Modelane usage is generally billed based on API consumption, including model provider usage, routing, and platform fees. Charges for successfully delivered usage are non-refundable except where required by law, where a billing error occurred, or where Modelane confirms that a platform incident caused incorrect billing.

3. Prepaid Credits

Prepaid credits are intended for future platform usage. Unused prepaid credits are not cash equivalents and are not transferable. We may, at our discretion, refund unused credits when required by applicable law, when a duplicate payment was made, or when an account cannot be activated after verification.

4. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If a payment is captured more than once, captured for the wrong amount, or associated with a failed checkout attempt, contact us at billing@modelane.ai. We will investigate and either refund the duplicate or incorrect charge, or apply an equivalent account credit.

5. Account Suspension or Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, unused balances and fees are generally not refundable. If Modelane terminates access for reasons unrelated to policy violations, we may provide a pro-rated credit or refund for unused prepaid balances.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where supported by the payment processor. Processing times depend on the card network, bank, wallet, or payment method provider. We may ask for account verification before processing a refund request.
